Why is fundraising important?

As a small private school, Assumption Regional Catholic School relies on fundraising as part of our budget. Tuition and parish subsidies cover a large part, but not all, of the expense of operating the school. So we rely on the fundraising efforts of our school families, community support and tuition in order to meet annual expenses. Each family is asked to help with  fundraising .  The whole school becomes stronger when we work together to reach fundraising goals, and we appreciate every family’s contribution.

Why should I participate?

In addition to raising necessary funds for our school, fundraising events also allows community building opportunities. We work together, have fun together, get to know one another better, and strengthen our commitment to the mission of Assumption Regional Catholic School by serving together. Many events allow families to fulfill both their financial obligation and service obligation.

The ARCS Fund


As a member of Assumption Regional Catholic School’s community, you have the power to change lives. Every dollar contributed to The ARCS Annual Fund, the annual giving program, will go directly to assist our students at our school.

Your contribution will help our school continue to CREATE, INSPIRE, and NURTURE – fundamentals needed for our school community.

A tax-deductible gift to The ARCS Annual Fund will provide direct funding for educational enhancements.  Your generous gift will make a difference in the lives of students and support programs that tuition alone does not cover.

Top 100 Business

Small Business Owner

As a “Top 100 Business” member, donations go directly to Assumption Regional Catholic School’s Annual Fund. This contribution is extremely important to the school’s overall fundraising efforts as it allows us to continue our mission to inspire and nurture children through top notch programs.

SCRIP Gift Card Fundraiser


Year round, ARCS sells Gift Cards! These are the same gift cards that are sold at retail stores! There are over 300 retailers to choose from. ARCS buys gift cards at a discount and sells them at face value. We split the discount between your ARCS tuition account and our operating budget.

We have cards in stocks and hundreds of more brands and denominations are available by special order every other week. A full list of the retailers is available at or see the below link.

In honor of  Mary Ellen Schurtz, former principal of Assumption Regional Catholic School, The Mary Ellen Schurtz Scholarship was established. The scholarship is proud to offer two grants in her memory to one Lower Hall student and one Upper Hall Student at Assumption Regional Catholic School. Families will be able to apply for the scholarship, and the recipient will be personally selected by members of the Schurtz family.
