Principal's Message

Dear ARCS Families and Visitors to Our Website,

Peace and all good!

Welcome to the 2023-2024 School Year! Thank you for visiting our website! I am glad you are here, and hope you find the website easy to navigate.

Assumption Regional Catholic School has a rich 66-year history of providing a nurturing environment for students to grow in their love of God and neighbor, as well as receiving an education that focuses on the whole child:  spiritually, academically, socially, and physically!   We have an incredibly talented group of teachers who work tirelessly on behalf of their students.  Our school is enriched by the active involvement of supportive parents.  We are also grateful for the support of our home parish, Our Lady of Perpetual Help, as well as our regional parishes, Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton and Saint Thomas. We are blessed!

Our Mission at ARCS is to create. inspire, and nurture an environment that nurtures Gospel values, and meets the academic needs of each student for the growth of our school community.  We are Middle States accredited and a member of the National Catholic Educational Association.

This year our school's theme is "Be Kind."  This theme is wrapped in our scripture passage, Be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving one another as God in Christ forgave you.  (Ephesians 4:32)  Each day we will recite this verse during Morning Prayer.  Kindness is love in action, and our students will have many opportunities to live out this important virtue.

We are so proud of our school and all that we have to offer our students, families, parishes, and the community! This year we are extremely excited about our Maker Space lab, where our students learn by "doing."   Our teachers prepare engaging lessons that challenge and encourage our students to grow academically.   In addition to our rigorous academic program, we have the privilege of sharing our Catholic faith with our students each day.  Our students know their responsibility to respond to Jesus’ command, "Whatsoever you do to the least of my brothers and sisters, you do for me."

Our students have the opportunity to participate in many extra-curricular clubs and sports such as basketball, soccer, cross country, clay club, maker space club, drama, choir, chess, to name a few.

Please feel free to contact our school at 609-652-7134 if you have any questions!  We look forward to hearing from you!

Blessings on the journey,

Joan Dollinger, M.Ed., M.S.
