PreKindergarten Programs

Assumption PreK4 and Prek3 classes offer a nurturing early education program for three‐ and four-year-old children who are fully potty trained with a focus on social skills, independence, small classroom experience and Kindergarten readiness. We offer your child a safe, secure and fun learning experience!
What Your Child Will Learn in PreK-3
PreK-3 is full time on Monday – Friday from 8:00am to 2:10pm.
Three-year-old children are in the PreK-3 classroom where they are learning the pledge of allegiance, recognizing letters, numbers, shapes, colors, capable of writing their names, mastering using safety scissors, and so much more. Show and Tell is on Fridays where each child is asked to bring in an item to share with the class that coincides with the letter or color we are covering that week.  Please note, ALL STUDENTS MUST be potty trained in order to start the program in September.

What Your Child Will Learn in PreK-4
PreK-4 is full time on Monday – Friday from 8:00am to 2:10pm.
Our preschool program for four-year-olds is designed to prepare students for Kindergarten and provide the structural foundation for success in years to come. Our preschool curriculum is centered on guiding and developing your child’s growth spiritually, socially, emotionally and academically. We encourage independence and strive to build their self -esteem. We do not say “I Can’t” in our class. We say “I can do my best”.  Please note, ALL STUDENTS MUST be potty trained in order to start the program in September.

Registration and Admissions
Our Pre-K program has limited availability for both the 3 year old and 4 year old classes.  Children entering our Pre-K program must be potty trained before school begins.  It is strongly encouraged to register as soon as possible as seats tend to fill-up by March.

In accordance with the Diocesan and State regulations:
  • All students entering the Pre-K 3 program MUST be 3 years old before September 30th.
  • All students entering the Pre-K 4 program MUST be 4 years old before September 30th.
  • All students entering Kindergarten MUST be 5 years old before September 30th.
All new students MUST present Health Records, a certificate of birth and certificates of sacraments. 
Once all documents are received and reviewed, the parents/guardians of those students eligible for admission will be contacted by the school.
